On screen branding
  • Brands can be seen and approached as channels that communicate and deliver to their audiences through multiple platforms. Channel branding focusses on getting your brand message across via different platforms and devices: TV, notebook, tablet, mobile, radio, narrowcast screens, in a consistent and dynamic way.
Each medium with it’s own context but all carrying the same brand message and brand's DNA.

In broadcast, channel branding is stronger related to the core product: the television channel itself.
For broadcast it’s essential that all the different channel elements: the graphic and information system, promo's, menu's, navigation elements, idents, build on the experience of the channel and the image of the brand. Together these elements establish the perception of the brand in the viewers mind. Here, channel branding refers to branding through the channel, which also can be used as a guide for the off air communication and to set the stage for online and mobile communication.
